What Will You Learn in the Noor Al-Bayan Course?
The Noor Al-Bayan Course at UAE Quran Academy takes students through a complete foundational reading program. Each stage builds directly on the previous one, ensuring no gaps are left in the learner’s reading foundation.
1. Arabic Letter Recognition and Correct Articulation (Makharij)
Students learn to recognize all 28 Arabic letters in their isolated, initial, medial, and final forms. Alongside recognition, each letter’s precise articulation point (makhraj) is taught — ensuring correct pronunciation is established from the very first session, not corrected later.
2. Vowel Sounds and Harakat Application
Learners master the short vowels — Fatha, Kasra, and Damma — and learn to apply them accurately to any letter combination. This stage also covers Sukoon, Shaddah, and Tanween, giving students the complete set of diacritical tools needed to decode Quranic text.
3. Elongations (Madd) and Foundational Tajweed Rules
The Noor Al-Bayan method introduces the rules of vowel elongation (Madd) and selected foundational Tajweed principles directly within reading exercises. Students do not study Tajweed theory in isolation — they encounter and apply these rules as they read, which builds practical recitation skill faster than theoretical study alone.
4. Direct Quranic Verse Reading
By the final stage, students read short Quranic passages directly from the Mushaf.
