The Quran Recitation Course for Kids teaches the full set of recitation skills your child needs to recite the Quran accurately and beautifully — from precise letter sounds to applying Tajweed rules naturally within verses.

1. Correct Articulation of Every Letter (Makharij)

Beautiful recitation begins with sound. Every Arabic letter exits from a specific point in the mouth or throat — its Makharij (articulation point). In this course, teachers train your child to produce each letter from its correct exit point, paying special attention to the letters non-native children most often confuse, such as the heavy and light letters. Getting the sound right is the foundation everything else rests on.

2. Vowel Timing and the Stretching of Sounds (Madd)

Children learn to give each vowel its correct length — short vowels kept short, and long vowels (Madd) stretched for their proper count. This is one of the most common places young reciters slip, either rushing the stretch or holding it too long. Teachers use simple counting and listening exercises so your child feels the rhythm of recitation rather than just memorizing a rule.

3. Core Tajweed Rules Applied in Recitation

Your child learns the essential rules that shape correct recitation — Ghunnah (the nasal sound), Noon Sakinah and Tanween rules, and Idgham (the merging of letters) — and, just as importantly, how to apply them while reciting, not as abstract theory. The rules are introduced one at a time and practiced immediately inside real verses.

4. Fluency, Pausing, and Flow

Once sounds and rules are secure, children practice reciting full verses with correct pauses (Waqf) and smooth flow — learning where to stop, where to continue, and how to recite without breaking words in the wrong places. This is the stage where reading turns into true recitation, and where children begin to recite with confidence and a sense of beauty.
