Learning to read the Quran for the first time requires more than memorizing letter names. This course develops the Arabic script recognition, sound production, vowel application, and recitation skills needed to read the Quran accurately and independently.
1. Arabic Alphabet Recognition and Letter Pronunciation
Students learn all 28 Arabic letters in their four written positions — isolated, initial, medial, and final — and practice producing each letter’s sound from its correct articulation point (Makhraj). 2. Harakat: Applying Arabic Vowel Marks for Accurate Quran Reading
Understanding Fatha, Kasra, Damma, Sukoon, Shadda, and Tanween is where most self-directed learners stall. 4. Letter Connection Rules for Reading Arabic Script
Arabic’s connected script is one of the main points where English-reading beginners lose confidence. Dedicated lessons address how Arabic letters change shape depending on their position within a word.
