1. Arabic Letter Recognition and Correct Pronunciation (Makharij)
Sisters begin by mastering all 28 Arabic letters — their shapes in isolation and in connected script — and learning to produce each one from its correct articulation point (Makharij). This is the single most important step for any student whose first language is not Arabic, and it is where UAE Quran Academy’s female teachers invest the most care.
2. Vowels, Harakat, and Reading Vowelled Quranic Text
Students learn to read Arabic letters with their full vowel markers — Fatha, Kasra, Damma, Sukoon, and Shadda — and apply short and long vowels with correct timing. The goal is confident, flowing reading of vowelled Quranic text, without pausing to decode each letter individually.
3. Foundational Tajweed Rules in Context
Tajweed is not a separate subject to be studied after reading — it is woven into recitation from the very first lesson. UAE Quran Academy’s female teachers introduce rules such as Ghunnah, Noon Sakinah, Madd, and Idgham within the actual verses sisters are already reading, so the rules are learned as living practice, not abstract theory.
4. Surah Memorization and Recitation
For sisters who wish to memorize, the program integrates selected Surahs into the reading curriculum — beginning with the shorter Surahs of Juz Amma and building from there. Revision is structured and consistent so that what is memorized stays memorized.
